Sydney Collett

Ph.D. Candidate



Sydney Collett completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Wildlife and Conservation Biology) from Deakin University in 2013. She has since completed her Honours degree at Charles Darwin University, identifying habitat characteristics that drive the abundance and distribution of two endangered turtle species in south-eastern Queensland.

Sydney is particularly interested in the movement of animals and the elements of the environment that drive these movements. She is currently undertaking her Ph.D. at CDU, working with tracking Gouldian Finches in the eastern Kimberley, WA.
